1. Management of personal data.
The Customer is informed of the regulations concerning marketing communications, the Law of 21 June 2014 on confidence in the digital economy, the Data Protection Act of 6 August 2004 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR : No. 2016-679).
1.1 Parties responsible for collecting personal data
For Personal Data collected in connection with the creation of the User’s personal account and their browsing on the Website, the party responsible for processing Personal Data is : EdiEyes Vision Care. https://www.edieyes.fr est represented by Jean-Luc LEVESQUE, its legal representative.
As the controller of the data it collects, https://www.edieyes.fr undertakes to comply with the legal provisions in force. In particular, it is the Customer’s responsibility to establish the purposes of its data processing, to provide its prospects and customers, based on the collection of their consent, with complete information on the processing of their personal data and to maintain a register of processing operations that reflects reality.
Whenever https://www.edieyes.fr processes Personal Data, https://www.edieyes.fr takes all reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the Personal Data in relation to the purposes for which https://www.edieyes.fr processes it.
1.2 Purpose of the data collected
https://www.edieyes.fr may process all or part of the data:
- to enable navigation on the Website and the management and traceability of the services ordered by the user : connection and usage data for the Website, invoicing, order history, etc.
- to prevent and combat computer fraud (spamming, hacking, etc.) : computer equipment used for browsing, IP address, password (hashed)
- to improve browsing on the Website : connection and usage data

1.3 Right of access, rectification and opposition

- the right to the portability of data provided by Users, when such data is subject to automated processing based on their consent or on a contract (Article 20 GDPR)
- the right to determine the fate of Users’ data after their death and to choose to whom https://www.edieyes.fr shall communicate (or not) their data to a third party they have previously designated
As soon as https://www.edieyes.fr becomes aware of the death of a User and in the absence of instructions from them, https://www.edieyes.fr undertakes to destroy their data, unless its storage is necessary for evidentiary purposes or to meet a legal obligation.

In this case, the User must indicate the Personal Data that they would like https://www.edieyes.fr to correct, update or delete, identifying themselves precisely with a copy of an identity document (identity card or passport).
Requests for the deletion of Personal Data will be subject to the obligations imposed on https://www.edieyes.fr by law, particularly with regard to the storage or archiving of documents. Finally, Users of https://www.edieyes.fr may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authorities, in particular the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).
1.4 Non-disclosure of personal data
https://www.edieyes.fr undertakes not to process, host or transfer the Information collected on its Customers to a country outside the European Union or recognised as ‘inadequate’ by the European Commission without first informing the customer. However, https://www.edieyes.fr remains free to choose its technical and commercial subcontractors, provided that they offer sufficient guarantees with regard to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: No. 2016-679).
https://www.edieyes.fr undertakes to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the Information and, in particular, to ensure that it is not disclosed to unauthorised persons. However, if an incident affecting the integrity or confidentiality of Customer Information is brought to the attention of https://www.edieyes.fr, the latter shall inform the Customer as soon as possible and communicate the corrective measures taken. Furthermore, https://www.edieyes.fr does not collect any ‘sensitive data’.
The User’s Personal Data may be processed by subsidiaries of https://www.edieyes.fr and subcontractors (service providers), exclusively for the purposes of this policy.
Within the limits of their respective responsibilities and for the purposes outlined above, the main individuals likely to have access to the data of Users of https://www.edieyes.fr are primarily our customer service agents.
1.5 Types of data collected

Article 3.2. INTERNET TAGS
https://www.edieyes.fr may occasionally use Internet tags (also known as ‘tags’ or action tags, single-pixel GIFs, transparent GIFs, invisible GIFs and one-by-one GIFs) and deploy them through a web analytics partner that may be located (and therefore store the corresponding information, including the User’s IP address) in a foreign country.

4. Applicable law and jurisdiction.
